Adult-use recreational cannabis (also know as "marijuana", "weed", or "pot") was legalized in Canada on October 17, 2018.
The Maximum Public Possession limit an adult may carry for cannabis products in Canada is 30 grams, or cannabis equivalent.
The Gocanna Calculator was developed to allow you to easily determine what your total cannabis possession quantity is when carrying various cannabis products in Canada and to assist you in monitoring your PUBLIC possession limit. It allows you to easily determine your possession quantity by converting all types of legal cannabis products into Dried Flower Equivalents.

*NOTE: Only Dried Flower, Cannabis Seeds, Cannabis Seedlings and Infused Oils are currently legal for adults to purchase at retail locations in Canada. Edibles, Beverages and Concentrates are permitted to be made at home but are not currently available for retail purchase. The Government of Canada intends to make them available for retail purchase at a later time.
